About Us

   Hello and thank you for visiting the No Worries Petsitting website! My name is Christine Chiu. We currently have 8 pet sitters including myself: Vickie Anderson, Nikki Bauer, Joseph Dattolli, Dolores Eckert, Emily Brodsky, Emily Denny, and David McBride.
My background: I grew up always having a home full of pets and later in life having many of my own including: dogs, cats, fish, roosters, birds, and small animals. I completed a correspondence course in veterinary assistance and worked as a veterinary technician at several animal hospitals for many years. I graduated from Centenary College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, as well as dual associate degrees from Raritan Valley Community College in Marketing and Business Management. I started No Worries because I believe our pets are very important family members and they deserve the best care possible. I originally began pet sitting many years ago while working at several veterinary clinics. Clients would call because they had to take a trip, and for fear of kenneling their pets, knowing they could get ill or be miserable, the pet owners would seek out alternative options such as hiring a pet sitter. They were looking for a trustworthy recommendation from the vet’s office. I completely felt their pain and understood their concerns, as I know I would never want to kennel my own "babies". I started pet sitting at that point and absolutely loved what I was doing. I also realized how much the pet owners appreciated having someone reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate take care of their pets. Many years later, it is still my passion. Since opening the business full time in 2007, we have grown tremendously. All of our pet sitters have lots of experience caring for animals. They are all wonderful individuals and have a special place in their hearts for all types of pets. I hope you will give us a call for a meet and greet session. Let me introduce you to our pet sitters!

David McBride:   Dave has always had a deep love for pets, owning dogs and cats his whole life. He has the sweetest Airedale terrier named Lilly. He also coaches children's soccer games and received his Bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University in 1991.


Emily Denny:    Emily volunteers steadily at a Pet Adoption League in NJ. She has experience pet sitting for many years and has owned iguanas, fish, dogs, and cats.


Emily Brodsky:  Emily has lots of experience with animals. She has worked as an educator at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, as well as a technician at the Avian Research and Conservation Institute. She has also worked in Costa Rica as a field ecology instructor, teaching courses in ecology, conservation, natural history, language and culture and a program director at a YMCA. She has her B.S. in Environmental Education and has a deep love for pets, owning dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits. Emily has also had experience with snakes, horses, and chickens.



Dolores Eckhart    Dolores grew up on a farm, owning pets her whole life. Her favorite pet is the Chow, owning several, one even being an AKC champion. She has showed many breeds and taken numerous behavioral and obedience classes. She also has experience whelping litters. Dolores pet sat regularly for friends before working for No Worries. She has taken the Red Cross Dog Care class as well as CPR.



Matthew Pennucci    Matt has an extensive background in pet sitting and pet care; this includes caring for dogs, cats, horses, and farm animals. He loves his pets like they are his children and has a very deep love for all animals. If you asked Matt about his daughter, he'd be sure to tell you all about his beautiful white german shepherd, Madchen. Matt's 2 dogs are shown in the pictures below; however, Gunnar the Akita/Retriever has passed on. There is also a picture of Simon, Matt's cat. Matt understands and appreciates how much people love their pets, just like he does, and he enjoys being able to show that same love for our clients' pets just the same; providing attention, affection, pampering, making sure that the pets feel happy and content.





Jenny Lapekas    Jenny has always been an animal lover. She grew up surrounded by many household pets and was taught at a young age to love and respect animals, and that they are family members that need lots of care and affection. Jenny has a Dachshund named Loki, a Pit Bull named CC, two cats, four rats, and several tree frogs.

Vickie Anderson    



Nikki Bauer    Nicole has had a plethora of experience in pet sitting (over 5 years). She is enthusiastic and quite involved in her foster work with stray kittens/cats and sometimes puppies/dogs, which come into her work and need a place to call home for a little while. Nikki currently works at a veterinary clinic in the Lehigh Valley as a technician. She has had many pets of her own: Obi, a Pomeranian; Kipper, a Spitz mix; and 3 cats who she calls "her world". Nikki is extremely knowledgeable in caring for pets, and that is one of the first things you will learn when you meet.



Krista    Krista has been taking care of animals as long as she can remember. Always being surrounded by them growing up, along with volunteering at the local SPCA and local Greyhound adoption groups. She currently takes care of all of the pets in her house which include 3 Greyhounds and 1 Italian Greyhound, 3 cats, 2 Cockatiels, rabbit, turtle, Bearded Dragon, Gecko and a frog. She also spends a lot of time maintaining her two fish tanks one freshwater and one saltwater. She is currently going to school for a General Studies program but is going to transfer into a Zoology and Animal Behavior program. Along with taking care of animals mostly all day at home she also works at Petco where she has gained more and more experience and knowledge based on taking care of pets. She also has some experience taking care of pets with special needs.
